I like their sense of humor... laughter is good medicine!

As I realized we are 70 short days until Christmas, hubby told me he's 75 long days post-transplant. It feels very strange in terms of perspective... how can time feel variable, even though it's static?

Phase 3 of his anti-rejection infusions are now behind us, with the big, bad one coming this week that knocks back his immune system for several months and is expected to leave him feeling pretty awful.

How can something so destructive be good?

Because destruction is never the end. It's just part of the transformation process. If you're in the midst of a difficult season like we are, recognize it for what it is... and trust the One who knows where your path leads!
