TRANSPLANT RECOVERY - Week 9

If you've been following our daughter-to-hubby kidney transplant story, thank you! Your encouraging words, prayer and support mean so very much!

Last week's biopsy results revealed evidence hubby's body was rejecting the new kidney, so he's started an aggressive series of transfusions that will prepare for coming treatment infusions that will knock his immune system back down for the next 6 months.

It was a tough week, that also included our 14-year old grand-daughter being rushed to the hospital after having a severe allergic reaction at school. Fortunately, she's fine but we're all a bit baffled at what happened and why.

The ride on the struggle bus continues!

Do you feel that way, too? I know our struggles are not unique. Life is full of 'opportunities for growth', isn't it?!

It's not what happens to us that matters though.
It's how we choose to respond that defines who we are.

Happy people aren't happy because their life is wonderful. Their life is wonderful because they choose to be happy.

If life has you down or you're struggling right now, I challenge you to choose to respond differently! A challenge I'm tasking myself with, as well!
