If you've been following our transplant story, it's been a bit of a rough week for my hubby, daughter and our family.
Turns out some of the anti-rejection meds were responsible for some miserable side effects hubby was having. After lots of labs, tests and time at the transplant clinic, we received an all-clear yesterday that the new kidney our daughter donated almost 2 weeks ago is functioning well- no problem found!🙌🏼 They made some adjustments to his drug regimen and he started
feeling better yesterday!

Our grandkids started school this week (two of them at new schools) and our daughter may have overdone it when her mama's heart wanted to give more than her body was able, resulting in some miserable past few days. Her recovery is slow, which was to be expected given the donor's surgery is more invasive than the recipients. It
hurts our parent hearts to see her suffering, especially after such a sacrificial gift, even if we know she will be blessed.
Your continued prayers are very much appreciated!
To say we are grateful is a huge understatement. It's been quite a journey and we couldn't do it without faithful prayer warriors and GOD's never-ending mercy and grace!
