SHIMMER MIST: SPRAY

Adding a subtle -or striking- sheen of shimmer to your paper-crafting projects is easy with DIY Shimmer Mist!

Add your own Rubbing [Isopropyl] Alcohol to a Stampin' Spritzer, along with 3-4 drops of Shimmer Paint, shake and spray! The more you add, the more opaque the shimmer will look.

IDEA #1- Decorative Background

#1- Using the BASIC PATTERN Decorative Masks, spray Shimmer Mist on cardstock to create a patterned background that's stunning, without being distracting. BONUS: It's quick & easy!

SAVVY TIP: Add a drop or two of color-matched Ink Refill to the Shimmer Mist to create a tone-on-tone effect that's a little more subtle than straight Shimmer Mist. When you look straight on, it's not obvious... until the the light catches the shimmer and surprises you with a burst of glimmer!

IDEA #2 - Embellish!

For a fine mist of shimmer, spray about 8-10" away from your paper, as many times as desired (for example, the Gorgeous Grape C/S above)

Savvy Tip: Vary the look by spraying smaller areas closer to the paper, or removing the nozzle from the Spritzer and allowing drops to fall from the cylinder (like the card at the beginning of this email)

IDEA #3 - Emboss!

Spritz your paper, then immediately place in an embossing folder and roll through a die-cutting machine while damp (like the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine).

Not only will you get beautiful sheen of shimmer, but it creates a crisp embossed image with incredible detail, like the Balmy Blue C/S embossed with Winter Snow Embossing Folder below.
