Hubby & I just returned from a family reunion in Oregon, where it was green and GORGEOUS! How it made me miss (what I consider) home. Despite being in California over 35 years, my heart still goes pitter-patter when I see the 'Welcome to Oregon' sign as we cross the state border. Proves you're never too old to go home,
right?!❤
Our grands have been back in school a couple weeks now, with their respective sports/clubs and homework now in full swing {which means we see them even less than we want- ugh!:(}. That's when summer really seems over for us! Kids mark time like nothing else, huh?😥
On the positive side, it also means a more consistent routine. You may have noticed my newsletters are a bit sporadic in the summer! Like you, I like to take advantage of summer and play- especially with the grands! I'm working on this year's '12 Weeks of Christmas', which'll be starting soon😲!
