Happy creative day, stampin' friends! My step-mom insists everyone deserves a birthday week- not just a day, so I'm starting to enjoy mine! Halloween is a popular day for birthdays in our
family- mine included. Surprisingly, I think there's more celebrations tomorrow than any other day of the year. There was a whole lot of lovin' going on in February! You know I LOVE to hear from you, so I'd like to make a special birthday challenge: Leave me a Happy Birthday comment on the website anytime between now and Sunday (Nov
4). I'll pick a name at random for a special surprise gift from me* and announce it in next week's Newsletter! wooHOO! (I'd love to know where you're from, so include your town or state if you want! *US Residents Only- but I'd still love to hear birthday greetings from stampin' friends around the
world! --- HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK ---

TOOL TIP: Precision Base Plate
Q: What's the benefit of the Big Shot Precision Base Plate? Do I really need it? When do I use it? A: The Precision Base Plate (PBP) is designed to be used with intricate Thinlits dies, like most of the new Snowfall Thinlits Dies. While standard cutting plates may seem hard, they actually have a little flex in them- ideal for Framelits with a large center opening (like my favorite Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies). Intricate, detailed dies benefit from the firm pressure provided by the Precision Base Plate, which replaces the bottom cutting plate. It really does makes a big difference in achieving a complete cut of all those intricate details. If in doubt about when to use it, reference pages 215-221 of the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual
Catalog. Look for the Pear Pizzazz color-coding!
