EASY WATERCOLOR CARDS

Here's two fun and simple cards to try this weekend using the classic NATURE'S PRINTS Stamps & Dies!

• Make a card base with Gray Granite Cardstock
  • Cut 8.5" x 5-1/2", score on long side at 4.25"
• Stamp on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with White Craft Ink; heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
  • Savvy Tip! Use the Stamparatus or stamp positioning tool to repeat stamp the images on this textured paper to get the best results
• With large Water Painter, spread water across paper, add Starry Sky ink and spread; allow to dry. Pick up intense color with Water Painter and flick spots across paper; let dry. Wipe embossed images with cloth, as needed to reveal white glossy surface.
• Roughen edges of watercolor paper with the open blade of Paper Snips. Adhere to card front with strong adhesive.
• Stamp sentiment on scrap of Basic White Cardstock; trim. Place on top of scrap of vellum* and scrap of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper
• Tie large bow with 12" Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon*; adhere with Mini Glue Dot. Adhere sentiment piece on top with Stampin' Dimensionals (behind DSP)
• Embellish with Solid Faceted Gems [Navy Blue]
• *Substitute Rose Gold Specialty Paper & Rose Gold and White  Ribbon with your other supplies from the July Card Kit
• Stampin' Mist & Stampin' Scrub make easy work of removing craft ink to clean and condition your rubber stamps 

• Make a card base with Calypso Coral Cardstock
  • Cut 8.5" x 5-1/2", score on long side at 4.25"
  • Adhere 4" x 5" Calypso Coral* Designer Series Paper to card front, at an angle [*SUBTLES Collection]
• Cut Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 3-3/4" x 4-1/2"
  • With large Water Painter add water in circle and add Crushed Curry ink; stamp around edge with greenery stamp. Allow to dry and adhere to card front, angled
• On a separate piece of Fluid 100 add water with large Water Painter, add Coastal Cabana ink in spots, add additional Old Olive ink... allow it to flow into each other and dry. Die-cut with wreath die and adhere with Glue.
  • Optional: Repeat and layer a second wreath on top, offset
• Stamp sentiment on white cardstock, die-cut with sentiment label die.
• Zigzag 9-10" Gold Shimmer Ribbon and adhere across center of wreath with Stampin' Seal; adhere sentiment label in center with Stampin' Dimensionals
• Add several Brushed Metallic Dots... done!
