Heat embossing is my favorite technique- still magical even after 25+ years paper crafting. Having the right tools and products can make big difference in not just the outcome, but in your enjoyment, so I was thrilled to see this kit in the new July-Dec Mini Catalog.
I've put it through the paces as I've been working on the cards for the July Kit & Tutorials (hint, hint!:)- as well as today's sympathy card.
The anti-static powder removes moisture and prevents powder from sticking where you don't want it. Use the brush to remove stray flecks and clean the tray, which collects the excess powder while you sprinkle it on your project, then easily funnels it back into the jar.
The reverse tweezers with Teflon tips are the star of the show though, in my opinion. Not only are they handy for holding your project while applying heat, they act as a 'third hand' for all kinds of crafty things like tying bows... wooHOO! Put it on your wish list for July, you'll love it!
