How do you react when you see a rainbow🌈?
For me, it never fails to make me smile!
It's a symbol of encouragement- and a remembrance of a hug from God I desperately needed at a difficult time in my life.
My mom had just passed following a long, debilitating illness. I had laid down on the couch after getting home from a long week spent at the hospital. I was so exhausted and emotionally overwhelmed, I was just staring at a large skylight overhead with tear-filled eyes.
And guess what suddenly appeared?
A bright DOUBLE rainbow, the likes of which I've never seen before or since!
I can't even explain the peace that came over me. It was like God whispered in my heart and assured me it was going to be okay. I was going to be okay. My mom, who had trusted Jesus, was going to be okay.
Even as I write this, I'm tearing up at the memory.
God can even use a 🌈spectrum of refracted light from water droplets to speak to you!
And while I like to think rainbows are just for me now :), the truth is they make virtually everyone HAPPY!
