Spring is in full swing here in Southern California, with temperatures in the 80's the past few days. The bees are buzzing and we're starting to plan our summer garden.

This may not be your experience yet, but it's coming... wooHOO!

This week I'm sharing several tips and bonus ideas from this month's Card Kit & Tutorial Bundle.

The tulips above were the inspiration behind this month's projects... they're our daughter Jessica's favorite flower! {she's the one who donated a kidney to her dad}💕

We picked up this beautiful bouquet at our local Farmer's Market recently and surprised her at work. God used us to bring some encouragement on what-completely unbeknownst to us- was a tough day at work (love those hugs from Him!)

FLOWERING TULIPS

This is our daughter's Mother's Day card, she just doesn't know it yet!🤫

My daughter picked her own birthday card from what I made with this month's Card Kit😂... I spill the beans in the video tutorials!

TWO STEP STAMPING TIPS

If you're not sure what stamps to use with each other, this will help!

It's part of a Tips Tutorial I share in the Card Kit & PDF Tutorial Bundle.

STAMPED TULIP #1

This is the largest stamped flower and is ideal for your focal point.

I found it easiest to use the first stamp in your darker ink (red in the sample above), followed by the lighter, accent color (yellow, above), if desired.

SAVVY TIP: Use the same ink pad to achieve two colors! For the second stamp (yellow in the above sample), stamp off on scrap paper first to remove most of the ink.

This leaves a much lighter color and looks like you used two ink pads!

STAMPED TULIP #2

This showcases a tulip from a different angle and is the middle-size.

STAMPED TULIP #3

This is the closed bud... love the variety!

All together they make a beautiful 💐 bouquet

The edge die is AH-MAZING- and so easy to use!

Savvy Tip: Use your FLOWERING FIELDS leftover scraps to die-cut these tulips!

Savvy Tip: Use your Stampin' Blends Markers as another way to add highlights and depth to your flowers... notice the die-cut for the small 'bud' flower is used to cut the leaves!😉
